Building Pipelines of Bankable Climate-Compatible Growth Projects

On 22 August 2024, Lloyds Financials Limited (I-FL), in collaboration with CCG in Zambia, successfully hosted at the Intercontinental Hotel, the first workshop in a series focused on “Building Pipelines of Bankable Climate-Compatible Growth Projects.” This inaugural event brought together over 40 members of the newly formed Climate Finance Special Interest Group to explore potential investment opportunities in energy, transport, land use, and critical minerals.

The workshop provided a dynamic platform for participants to share insights, identify challenges, and discuss strategies to enhance project bankability. The discussions were instrumental in gathering vital information that will contribute to Zambia’s sustainable development goals. By fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing, we aim to drive forward innovative and bankable projects that align with climate-compatible growth.
