Fynn is a research assistant focussing on energy systems modelling using the OSeMOSYS and MAED tools. He is Model Curator for MAED which involves delivering training at our EMP events, building and maintaining the MAED database, and developing training material. Fynn is also Country Coach for the Sierra Leone project, guiding staff from key national institutions (Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Finance, University of Sierra Leone) through the Data-to-Deal process. This involved spending three months in Freetown, codeveloping an OSeMOSYS model with the Ministry of Energy. Fynn holds an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London and a BSc in Chemistry from Durham University.
