Strengthening the Investment Landscape for Climate-Compatible Growth in Zambia

On 27 November 2024, Lloyds Financials Limited (I-FL), in collaboration with CCG in Zambia, hosted the third workshop in the series “Building Pipelines of Bankable Climate-Compatible Growth Projects” at the Southern Sun Ridgeway Hotel in Lusaka. The workshop, titled “Business Case Development and Policies,” aimed to offer capacity-building sessions for stakeholders while gathering insights on regulatory perspectives to enhance the investment landscape in Zambia.

This initiative is part of our ongoing efforts to support climate-compatible growth and build a robust pipeline for energy, transport, critical minerals, the circular economy, and land use projects. The workshop, attended by 45 members of the Climate Finance Special Interest Group, focused on preparing stakeholders for final pitch presentations. By strengthening the skills and knowledge needed for investees to attract investment, ensure bankability, and prepare projects for successful investment opportunities, we are paving the way for a sustainable and prosperous future.
