Our Colleague Fynn Kiley has created these slide sets to accompany the training videos available on our YouTube Channel. They are designed for people who have already completed the training course and are now looking to develop their skills in specific sectors.

These slides outline the data requirements for building a case study in MAED and provide guidance on which databases and sources are appropriate. They also contain some initial data points that are transferable across countries e.g. efficiencies.  There is no accompanying video.

MAED: Agriculture, Construction and Mining Base Year Reconstruction Workflow

The following document provides a step by step methodology for recreating the base year in the agriculture, construction and mining sectors in MAED. It uses data derived from the UN Energy Balances and the World Bank’s World Development Indicators, however, other data sources can be used where appropriate (it is recommended to use country-specific sources such as Ministry of Energy statistics etc). There is no accompanying video.
