Launching the Chibombo District PACE Project

On 14 November 2024, Lloyds Financials Limited (I-FL), in collaboration with the University of Oxford and the University of Zambia, and with the support of the Climate Compatible Growth Programme in Zambia, hosted the inaugural workshop for the Provincial Action for Community-focused and Integrated Energy Services (PACE) project at the Pamodzi Hotel in Lusaka. This national-level event focused on Chibombo District and was graced by distinguished guests, including His Royal Highness Chief Liteta of Chibombo District, Her Royal Highness Chieftainess Mungule, and the Provincial Chiefs Affairs Officer.

The workshop, attended by 30 members, provided an overview of the PACE project, gathered insights on testing the Decentralised Energy Planning Guidelines, refined the baseline study framework, and secured formal support from key stakeholders. This collaborative effort is crucial for advancing community-focused and integrated energy services, ensuring that the project aligns with the needs and aspirations of the local community. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all participants, especially our esteemed guests, for their invaluable contributions and support
