The main objective of the EMP-LAC is to contribute to creating optimized investments for the energy transition in Latin America and the Caribbean. This will help meet the continent’s growing demand for low-carbon, inclusive, and climate-resilient development pathways whilst accessing its large resource base. It is an excellent opportunity to acquire free training, access to discussion forums, and coaching skills in models and tools for energy planning needs.

To date, one small scale round of EMP-LAC has taken place, namely EMP-LAC 2022. To accommodate growing participation and resounding calls for more dedicated sessions, all 5 tracks have been translated into Spanish to increase accessibility.

EMP-LAC 2023 (Español)

El objetivo principal de la EMP-LAC 2023 es contribuir a la creación de soluciones que promuevan inversiones optimizadas para la transición energética en América Latina y el Caribe. Esto ayudará a satisfacer la creciente demanda de soluciones de desarrollo bajas en carbono, inclusivas y resilientes a eventos climáticos, considerando la utilización sostenible de los recursos. Es una excelente oportunidad para adquirir formación gratuita, acceso a foros de discusión y habilidades de capacitación de modelos y herramientas utilizadas para la planificación energética.

Hasta la fecha, se ha realizado una ronda a pequeña escala de EMP-LAC, concretamente EMP- LAC 2022. Para dar lugar a la creciente participación y a las resonantes peticiones de más sesiones dedicadas a la región, los 5 temas que componen la EMP-LAC se han traducido al español para aumentar su accesibilidad.
