Emma is a research assistant focusing on energy systems modelling. Her current work is on developing an interactive visualisation tool for the OSeMOSYS energy model. Following the 2050 Calculator concept, this will enable experts and non-experts alike to explore in real time a myriad of possible future energy pathways.
Previously, she contributed to a variety of projects, including the OpTIMUS Community Summer Schools, Data-to-Deal and the Electricity Transition Playbook. Emma holds an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London, with a thesis applying OSeMOSYS to an LMIC. She also earned an MSci in Chemistry from the University of Surrey.
