Jeeno enjoys exploring the applications of advanced tools and models for data-driven climate solutions.   After completing a postgraduate in City Planning from Department of Architecture and Regional Planning, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India, she worked in consulting for a few years before enrolling in the PhD programme at the same university.  Her doctoral research focused on the risks of building on floodplains and on standardizing an approach to identify locations for nature-based solutions in cities, specifically examining road networks and stream channels.  Following her doctoral research, she worked with a civic tech start-up in India to strengthen the data ecosystem and promote data-driven decision-making. A major project she was involved in was the development of a flood risk decision support tool for the state of Assam in Northeast India. As part of her work, she led a series of webinars and workshops to facilitate peer learning and knowledge sharing on technological and data-driven methods to advance climate action plans.
