Tash Perros is a Senior Research Fellow at University College London (UCL). She specialises in energy access in sub-Saharan Africa, with a particular focus on business models, innovative finance and market development of clean cooking and solar technologies.
Tash has a PhD in Engineering for International Development from UCL and an MEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cambridge. On the CCG programme, her research projects include examining how adaptation finance can support energy access goals; the justice implications of clean cooking carbon credits; and supporting the Zambian government in developing their national clean cooking strategy.
